Solomon's Dance was founded one evening during a 7 hour drive returning home from a software users group meeting. It was during this meeting, that I met a women that was in charge of a number of pornographic web sites.

During one conversation some people were having with her, I overheard a man laughingly, and condescendingly say "Yea, those Baptists have sex maybe twice a year!".

Needless to say, this bothered me in my spirit, and the next day I found myself seeking the Lord about this. It amazed me how "the world" thinks they got it all, when in reality they got nothing!

As I drove, the Lord spoke to my heart the name "Solomon's Dance". And over the next few days, I came to the realization that Solomon's Dance is spoken of in Psalms 149:5, and of course in the Song of Solomon.

I have known for some time that God wants to bless all aspects of our marriage. I knew that according to 1 Corinthians 7:4, God designed men AND women to enjoy sex. Not only did God design us that way, but he encouraged it. Unlike animals, we humans can enjoy sex at any time - we do not have to wait for a certain 'cycle'.

I have also known for some time that sex has been highly perverted. When the devil was in heaven, he oversaw worship, and the scriptures teach that sex is a form of worship. When the devil fell, he determined to pervert all aspects of God, and I believe he specifically set out to pervert the most sacred act of worship - sexual relations.

It is my hope that this site will help restore the holiness, the spirituality, and the fun, that many of us miss in our sex lives. Solomon's Dance is NOT a porn site. It is rather, an alternative for Christians, both married and single. It is a safe place to help you find ways to enhance the worship experience in the privacy of your own bedroom.
